HDA
Architecture approaches to the concept of ‘architecture and design’ not
only as a profession, but within the aspect of discipline.
Architectural designing is mostly seen as a practice of constructing
buildings, but we describe it as cultural production. We think
production requires knowledge and experience in order to have qualified
products.
For this reason, we believe practicing in architecture is
related to art, history, geography, place/local, material and
social/daily life. The location where a construction is located which is
being designed in an office, sheds light on the designing and
practicing process with its own dynamics. While continuing to feed on
its former architectural experience, HDA Architecture benefits from
today’s technological opportunities and up to date developments.
In this
process, it is important to bring the traditional experience to the
same page with the technology of today and creating a new discussion
ground. In this context, the discipline of architecture and design also
offers us a ground for ‘thinking’ and ‘speaking’
